Angelina Jolie, who is no stranger to being in action movie, is in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in The Eternals, another superhero team feature that is being directed by Cloe Zhao.
The Eternals is based on the Jack Kirby created comic about superpowered, near immortal beings known as Eternals.

Kevin Tsujihara, Warner Bros. CEO for six years, has stepped down as chairman. His move to step down as leader for the movie studio comes after a story broke in The Hollywood Reporter last week alleging that Tsujihara was involved with actress Charlotte Kirk in exchange for movie auditions and roles.
Tsujihara did publicly apologize for his conduct, however it is unbecoming of a CEO to operate in this way. If he had not stepped down he would have been forced out by higher powers.
WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey said on Monday regarding Tsujihara’s departure:
“It is in the best interest of WarnerMedia, Warner Bros., our employees and our partners for Kevin to step down as Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Kevin has contributed greatly to the studio’s success over the past 25 years and for that we thank him. Kevin acknowledges that his mistakes are inconsistent with the Company’s leadership expectations and could impact the Company’s ability to execute going forward.”

Things have been getting off to a pretty rocky start for the next film in the Mission: Impossible franchise. A little over a month ago the film was falling apart due to script issues – and while those problems seem to have been alleviated, the film now has a new problem.
According to sources from The Hollywood Reporter, there are currently disputes between Tom Cruise and Paramount Pictures over the leading actor’s salary.
In the article, The Hollywood Reporter claims that the issue is that Cruise wants more money in order to match or exceed the pay he is receiving from Universal Pictures for his staring role in their The Mummy, which is currently shooting in London.
Paramount had announced that they were setting Mission: Impossible 6 for a late 2017 release date. However, if problems persist the film could be pushed back. Continue reading “Tom Cruise Halts Production on ‘Mission: Impossible 6’ Due To Pay Dispute”

After several months of speculation, MGM and Warner Bros. have finally found their new Tomb Raider! Unfortunately it is not Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Daisy Ridley as I had previously speculated, however this new casting news is just as interesting.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ex Machina’s Alicia Vikander has been cast as the video-game icon, and will be joining director Roar Uthaug who has already been attached to the movie.
According to the report the new Tomb Raider will “tell the story of a young and untested Croft fighting to survive her first adventure.” This seems to draw inspiration from the 2013 Tomb Raider game which focuses on a young Lara Croft and her first adventure.
