Terrifying First Look At ‘The Curse Of La Llorona’

A first look trailer for the James Wan produced film, The Curse of La Llorona, has hit the web and once again shows that anything that Wan touches will haunt your nightmares.

Wan is responsible for such terrifying horror franchises as The Conjuring and Insidious.  Now he brings us the story of La Llorona, a crying woman who lives between heaven and hell – cursed by her own hand when she drowned her two kids.  The film is directed by Michael Chaves, who Wan has picked to direct The Conjuring 3, so this proves that the horror director/producer has a lot of faith in Chaves’ capability in directing horror.

The Curse of La Llorona stars Linda Cardellini, Raymond Cruz, Patricia Valasquez, Marisol Ramirez, and Sean Patrick Thomas. The film is set for a release date of April 19, 2019.  Expect to be terrified.

‘The Flash’ & ‘Aquaman’ Directors Scramble!!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, The Flash director Seth Grahame-Smith is leaving the scarlet-speedster project due to “creative differences.” Grahame-Smith, who was the screenwriter of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, was suppose to make his directorial debut with this movie. However, with his departure he will only be receiving a screenwriter credit, having already penned a draft of the movie.

The Flash has a release date of March 16, 2018 and will be staring Ezra Miller as “the fastest man alive.” So while it never sounds good to have a director leave a project they still have a lot of time to find a new director. Also, looking at the resume of Grahame-Smith I am not too broken up about his departure.  I do not doubt that he can make good movies, but after the critical failure of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. can not afford another flop, so getting a more seasoned director for such a beloved property would be the better idea.  However, this story seemed to have started up the rumor mill in other places.
