Well, it has finally happened. After a year of only hearing about news and rumors surrounding the 9th Quentin Tarantino film we are finally getting our first look at it.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt together for the first time in the backdrop of a 1960s Hollywood. The acting duo play Rick Dalton and Cliff Booth, a washed-up actor and his long-time stunt double.
Check out the trailer below!
Tarantino wrote, directed, and produced Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and was inspired to create this film due to his upbringing in 1960s Tinseltown amidst LA’s hippie-crazed counterculture. The two characters Rick Dalton and Cliff Booth live next door to Sharon Tate, played by Margot Robbie, in 1969 – durring the rise of the Charles Manson cult.
The film also stars Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, and Bruce Dern who is playing the rancher who owned the infamous ranch where Manson and his followers lived.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is set to release on July 26th.

Currently Suicide Squad is battling very low critic reviews, however that doesn’t seem to be keeping the film down!
According to a report from Variety the film has already been able to bring in $8.1 million across seven international markets, which includes South Korea’s $2.9 Million and France’s $2.7 Million. Looking at these numbers it is already set to pass box office jugernauts Guardians of the Galaxy and Deadpool – and it shows no signs of slowing down.
The film set to release in another 57 international markets and is tracking to bring in more than $100 million in those markets.
Its still a few months before Harley Quinn’s big screen debut in Suicide Squad, however actress Margot Robbie seems to have impressed Warner Bros. enough to begin talking with her about a Harley Quinn movie.
According to a report that comes from The Hollywood Reporter, Margot Robbie is now attached to reprise her role as the character in the future as well as produce the currently untitled spinoff.
But don’t start screaming, “Harley Quinn solo film!!!” because that is not the case.
Although details are still being very closely guarded, the rumored project is not going to be a solo film, but rather a film that focuses on several of DC’s female heroes and villains. Maybe involving Batgirl or Birds of Prey?
I am all for this! The DC hero and villain lineup has a very strong female base. Characters like Harley Quinn, Batgirl, Poison Ivy, Katana, etc. I really hope this becomes a reality and that we get more of Robbie’s Harley Quinn because everything I have seen so far from the trailers show that she kills it as the psychologist turned psycho.
Its been reported by several sites that the Suicide Squad movie went back to do some major reshoots before the August release date. According to several rumors it was because they felt the need to add more humor to the film for it being too “dark and gloomy and not fun” like Batman v. Superman was. However, after the release of this trailer consider that rumor FALSE! There is obviously going to be humor and fun in this film, albeit dark humor, but it still looks like a fun time. Check it out!
Now, is this trailer awesome just because it’s set to “Ballroom Blitz”? Probably. But it follows that “fun” tone that the first trailer gave that was set to “Bohemian Rhapsody.” If you have not seen that trailer then treat yourself!
It’s finally out! A second trailer for the upcoming Suicide Squad (released date Aug. 5) trailer debuted last night as a part of the DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League special on The CW.
Suicide Squad is directed by David Ayer (End of Watch) and tells the story of a group of super villains who are released from prison in order to complete a mission that’s nobler than the team is used to. The squad is made up of Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), Deadshot (Will Smith) Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Slipknot (Adam Beach), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), and Diablo (Jay Hernandez).
Also, making his cinematic debut, assuming there is not a surprise cameo in the upcoming Batman v. Superman, is The Joker (Jared Leto). And as the clown prince of crime said, “I can’t wait to show you my toys.”
“Worst. Heroes. Ever.” At least that what director, David Ayer, said when he took to his Twitter page today to give us a look at some new Suicide Squad posters as well as to announce the date of a new Trailer!
David Ayer’s post includes a picture of the new poster with skulls representing each member of the Suicide Squad. Along with Ayer’s announcement, actors Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Adam Beach (Slipknot), and Karen Fukuhara (Katana) all tweeted out with the same written content as Ayer, “Worst. Heroes. Ever. #SuicideSquad trailer drops Tuesday night in the DC Films Special! 9:30/8:30c on The CW!” – only difference is that they had posters with their individual characters on them.
An awesome trailer for The Legend of Tarzan, featuring Alexander Skarsgard as the “Lord of the Apes” and Margot Robbie as Jane dropped today and it looks amazing! Director of the film, David Yates (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & 2) seems to be bring the jungle legend to life in a very positive way. In the trailer there is beautiful camerawork amidst the trees and what look like come crazy action sequences between the film villains, protagonist, and of course gorillas.
The villain of the film is intriguing, because it involves Christoph Waltz, who is always a great villain. Acting alongside Walts will be Samuel L. Jackson, who will surely bring a manic energy to the film as he always does.
The film obviously is not an adaptation of the Disney animated film, Tarzan, but is more of an adaptation of the collection of books made famous by author Edgar Rice Burroughs. The Legend of Tarzan has a release date set for July 1, 2016.
