If reports are to believed, the new, and possibly last iteration of the Daniel Craig lead Bond film will begin shooting this week!
The still untitled Bond 25 will begin its filming in Norway this week according to a report put out by MI6 HQ. While the outlet is not an official site for updates (it is more of a Bond Encyclopedia for unconfirmed reports), the story has some outside support, because it is being said by Daily Mail that the film’s director, Cary Fukunaga, recently flew out to Norway this past weekend – ahead of the start of the supposed production.
There are still many things about the upcoming film that are not yet known. It has been rumored that Rami Malek, who just won an Oscar for his performance in Bohemian Rhapsody, is attached to the movie, possibly in a villainous role. However his involvement has not yet been formally announced.
With filming starting up it is only a matter of time before we get more information about the movie. Bond 25 is set for an April 2020 release date, and if they just started shooting then expect them to make that date.

Just a few weeks ago news dropped that director Danny Boyle had dropped out of directing the newest iteration of James Bond. According to reports at the time Boyle dropped out of the project due to creative differences. Questions began to immerge about if Eon Productions and MGM would be able to keep their filming date of March 2019, in order to make a release of February 14, 2020 due to their loss of director.
Well, according to a report form Deadline, James Bond 25 has their new director in the critically acclaimed, Cary Joji Fukunaga.
With the newly hired Fukunaga, it looks like 007 may be able to stay on track for its projected release date. It is rumored that this shall be Daniel Craig’s last outing as the special agent, and Fukunaga is an excellent choice to direct the actor in his last outing as James Bond.
The next movie in the Daniel Craig led James Bond films, Spectre, is fast approaching its North American release date of November 6th. However, the first press screening was held in London, and the initial reviews are making their ways onto the web.
