‘The Dead Don’t Die’ Trailer, Reminiscent of ‘Zombieland’

For years fans have been clamoring for the next installment to the 2009 Zombie/Comedy flick, Zombieland.  Well, it looks like Bill Murray is stepping in to scratch that itch – only it’s not in the form of a Zombieland sequel.

In this new zombie adventure Murray and Adam Driver are teaming up for a very tongue-in-check adaptation of a zombie takeover film in The Dead Don’t Die.  Check out the trailer below!

Focus Features

The film is written and directed by Broken Flowers director Jim Jarmusch.  And has a packed cast alongside Murray and Driver with Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez and Tom Waits.

The dead will rise on June 14th of this year!

A Former Ghostbuster Defends New ‘Ghostbusters’

Lately it seems that the most popular thing to do on the Internet these days is to hate on the upcoming rebooted Ghostbusters movie staring Kate McKinnon, Mellissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and Leslie Jones.  And while the first trailer for the movie was not at all a well made trailer, I have to say it doesn’t deserve the hate that it has been received as it currently sits as the most disliked movie trailer in YouTube history.

With all of the hate the film has been getting stars of the film a director Paul Feig have been on “clean up” duty for the film ever since.  And now you can add a new name to the group of defenders.

Original actor and writer of the 1984 Ghostbusters film, Dan Aykroyd, took to his Facebook page a few days ago and said the following:

As originator of the original: Saw test screening of new movie. Apart from brilliant, genuine performances from the cast both female and male, it has more laughs and more scares than the first 2 films plus Bill Murray is in it! As one of millions of man-fans and Ray Stantz, I’m paying to see that and bringing all my friends!
