New Trailer for ‘Warcraft’ Movie

The second trailer for the upcoming Warcraft movie has been released via Facebook and it really sells the “War” aspect of Warcraft. Set to a thumping electronic soundtrack, it really displays the films energy.  At least lets hope this is truly the energy the film has because this trailer is awesome!

Warcraft, directed by Dunan Jones, is an epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based on Blizzard Entertainment’s global phenomenon. The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

The movie stars Rob Kazinsky, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster and Toby Kebbell, and has a release date of June 10.

A ‘Pokémon’ Live Action Movie Is Coming!

Guys!  It looks as if there is actually going to be a live action Pokémon movie.  Yes there have been fan-made trailers for one I the past, and yes there have been rumors floating around the internet for several years about this very subject.  But those were based on fictions reports, and speculator rumors.  This, however, is the real deal!

According to The Hollywood Reporter there is currently there is a bidding war going on for the rights to make a live action Pokémon movie and currently it looks like Legendary Pictures may walk away with it as their new franchise.  Other companies such as Sony and Warner Bros. are competing for the rights as well, however at this time it does not look promising for them. APRIL 15-17 BOX OFFICE RESULTS

When looking at the top 5 of this weekend’s box office it’s no surprise at all to see that The Jungle Book was able to take the number 1 place on the list. The anticipation was high, the marketing for the movie was spot on, and early, positive, word of mouth was circulating about the film before its release. However, what follows after the number 1 spot is quite noteworthy.

The most glaring, a hilarious, placement was that of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. I was expecting a drop between weeks 3 and 4, but not a 61% drop. That’s honestly laughable for this movie. I never would have expected The Boss to be able to overtake Batman v. Superman at the box office. Continue reading “APRIL 15-17 BOX OFFICE RESULTS”

“Fantastic Beasts And Where To find Them” Trailer!!!

The first teaser for Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, like many first teasers, was all about setting a tone and getting the movie’s name out there.  If you check out my past article on it you will see that I was not that impressed with it. It wasn’t bad, just underwhelming. However, thanks to the MTV Movie Awards, we have our first proper look at this prequel/spinoff of the Harry Potter series, and it actually tells looks pretty good!

The film is written by J.K. Rowling, who everyone knows as the author of the absurdly popular Harry Potter novels, and directed by David Yates, who directed the last four installments in the Harry Potter film franchise. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them tells the adventure of writer Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) in 1920’s New York’s secret community of witches and wizards seventy years before Harry Potter reads his book in school.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set to be in theaters on November 18, 2016. Will the potterheads be happy? Or will they not? Only time will tell.

Suicide Squad Trailer 3!!!

Its been reported by several sites that the Suicide Squad movie went back to do some major reshoots before the August release date.  According to several rumors it was because they felt the need to add more humor to the film for it being too “dark and gloomy and not fun” like Batman v. Superman was.  However, after the release of this trailer consider that rumor FALSE! There is obviously going to be humor and fun in this film, albeit dark humor, but it still looks like a fun time. Check it out!

Now, is this trailer awesome just because it’s set to “Ballroom Blitz”? Probably.  But it follows that “fun” tone that the first trailer gave that was set to “Bohemian Rhapsody.” If you have not seen that trailer then treat yourself!
