Awesome ‘The Legend of Tarzan’ Trailer!

An awesome trailer for The Legend of Tarzan, featuring Alexander Skarsgard as the “Lord of the Apes” and Margot Robbie as Jane dropped today and it looks amazing! Director of the film, David Yates (Harry Potter and the Order of the PhoenixHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & 2) seems to be bring the jungle legend to life in a very positive way. In the trailer there is beautiful camerawork amidst the trees and what look like come crazy action sequences between the film villains, protagonist, and of course gorillas.

The villain of the film is intriguing, because it involves Christoph Waltz, who is always a great villain. Acting alongside Walts will be Samuel L. Jackson, who will surely bring a manic energy to the film as he always does.

The film obviously is not an adaptation of the Disney animated film, Tarzan, but is more of an adaptation of the collection of books made famous by author  Edgar Rice Burroughs. The Legend of Tarzan has a release date set for July 1, 2016.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Trailer

The first trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 has been released, and it’s exactly as you would expect from a Michael Bay produced film – loads of CGI…most of which is bad, and sexy women mid-drifts.

First off, we’re getting the first appearance from Bebop and Rocksteady here, the pig/rhino duo who served as Shredder’s henchmen in the original series, though this sequel does appear to trace their origins back as humans-turned-mutant-animals. Also joining the Turtles is the hockey mask-wearing vigilante Casey Jones (played by Arrow’s Stephen Amell) and mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry). Reprising their rolls from the first film are Megan Fox as April O’Neil and Will Arnett as April’s sidekick Vernon Fenwick. .

The film’s official title, oddly, is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.  I thought Splinter taught the turtles to always work within in the shadows? The film is set for a summer release date of June 3, 2016.
