Tuesday night Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr., who play Captain America and Iron Man, sat down with Jimmy Kimmel to debut the new trailer for the next film in the Marvel franchise, Captain America: Civil War.

Triple 9 Trailer! Welcome Aaron Paul and Norman Reedus

Triple 9 just released its first international trailer – and what a trailer it is. The over the top gritty, action-packed crime thriller is staring a huge ensemble case of Woody Harrelson, Kate Winslet, Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Aaron Paul, Gal Gadot, Teresa Palmer, Norman Reedus, and Anthony Mackie.  Wow.

On top of a great cast the synopsis of the film sounds awesome as well. It reads as follows: A group of criminals and corrupt cops plan the murder of a police officer in order to pull off their biggest heist yet set across town.

The film is being directed by acclaimed director John Hillcoat.  Who directed such films as The Road, and LawlessTriple 9 will be released domestically in the US on February 19, 2016.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2!!!

“A long time ago, I had a big, fat Greek wedding.” No kidding!  The last one was made back in 2002, to be exact.  Now fast-forward 13 years, and you’ll find My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.

After spending most of their time focusing on their troubling teenage daughter, Toula and Ian are facing marital problems while also having to deal with yet another Greek wedding – this time, even bigger and fatter.

John Corbett is returning for the sequel along with Louis Mandylor, Andrea Martin, Gia Carides and many others.  They are also being accompanied by new arrivals John Stamos and Alex Wolff. Directing this new Greek Wedding is Kirk Jones, and writting it is Nia Vardalos. The original film made a very surprising $241M in its domestic run and added $127M from overseas.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is set for a release date of March 25, 2016.

Beautiful Poster For The Revenant

20th Century Fox has released the first teaser poster for Oscar-winning Birdman director Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s highly anticipated film The Revenant.  And it is absolutely gorgeous.

Based on true events, the film takes place in the early 19th century and stars Leonardo DiCaprio as hunter Hugh Glass, who is left for dead by his compatriots following a bear mauling. He subsequently awakens and sets out for revenge, with Tom Hardy and Domhnall Gleeson filling the roles of the men who must come face to face with Glass’ wrath. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Trailer

Sony has released a new trailer for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. The movie is being directed by Burr Steers (Igby Goes Down) and is based on Seth Grahame-Smith’s parody novel of the same name.

The film is about the Bennet sisters plated by Lily  James, Ellie BamberMillie Brady, Bella Heathcote and Suki Waterhouse as they deal with 19th century England society pressures of being women while trying to save their town from invading zombies!

The only thing I can say about this movie is…..”THIS LOOKS AWESOME!” I really hope that this movie is good.  It looks like a lot of fun.

Daddy’s Home Trailer

Today a new trailer dropped for the new upcoming comedy staring both Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.  The film is also being directed by Sean Anders (Horrible Bosses 2, We’re the Millers).  The film synopses reads as follows:

A mild-mannered radio executive strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids.

I have to admit the last time I saw Ferrell and Wahlberg team up (The Other Guys) I was underwhelmed.  However, there are some pretty good laughs in this trailer so I’m willing to give the film a chance.

Daddy’s Home is scheduled to be released this year December 25th.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer (Official)

“I’ve flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I’ve seen a lot of strange stuff, but I’ve never seen anything to make me believe there’s one all-powerful Force controlling everything. There’s no mystical energy field controls my destiny! It’s all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.”

-Star Wars Episode IV – A New Hope, Han Solo

Not Anymore! Han Solo believes in the Force, the Dark Side, and the Jedi. Kylo Ren worships at the altar of Darth Vader. Finn (John Boyega) may be well on his way to becoming a Jedi, and the junk scavenger, Rey, (Daily Ridley) seems to be the glue holding all of this together.

After last night’s debut of the official Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer it seems that The Force is strong, still, with Star Wars fans! Continue reading “Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer (Official)”
