New ‘Bond’ Film Reportedly Starts Filming This Week

If reports are to believed, the new, and possibly last iteration of the Daniel Craig lead Bond film will begin shooting this week!

The still untitled Bond 25 will begin its filming in Norway this week according to a report put out by MI6 HQ.  While the outlet is not an official site for updates (it is more of a Bond Encyclopedia for unconfirmed reports), the story has some outside support, because it is being said by Daily Mail that the film’s director, Cary Fukunaga, recently flew out to Norway this past weekend – ahead of the start of the supposed production.

There are still many things about the upcoming film that are not yet known.  It has been rumored that Rami Malek, who just won an Oscar for his performance in Bohemian Rhapsody, is attached to the movie, possibly in a villainous role.  However his involvement has not yet been formally announced.

With filming starting up it is only a matter of time before we get more information about the movie.  Bond 25 is set for an April 2020 release date, and if they just started shooting then expect them to make that date.

What do you think of production starting on the new Bond film?  Do you like Daniel Craig as Bond, and who should take his place after this movie?  Leave a comment below and let’s make a discussion out of it.
