First Full-Length ‘Toy Story 4’ Trailer

The first full-length trailer for the next installment in the Toy Story franchise debuted this morning on Good Morning America, and shows us the next, and possibly last, adventure for Sheriff Woody and his friends.

The official synopsis of the film is as follow:

Woody has always been confident about his place in the world that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie.  But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.

Toy Story 4 is directed by Josh Cooley, making this his first time to direct a full-length animated film.  The film features the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Jordan Peele, Annie Potts, Wallace Shawn, Joan Cusack, John Ratzenberger and Keanu Reeves.

As far as trailers go this one seems pretty weak.  However, these were my thoughts for the trailers for the 3rd movie, and that one turned out outstanding!  I am looking forward to the film, but this trailer, to me, is lacking the magic that Toy Story movies are known for.  Hopefully as we get closer to the film’s release date we are shown something a little more exciting.

Toy Story 4 is set for a June 21st release date.

What did you think of this trailer?  Are you looking forward to seeing the film?  Leave a comment below and let’s make a discussion out of it.
