New X-Men Movie ‘Dark Phoenix’ Gets A Tailer

The first trailer for the X-Men movie, Dark Phoenix debuted on The Late Late show on Wednesday and shows the loved mutant superhero team fighting against on fo their own: Jean Gray (Sophie Tuner), who is consumed by an evil and powerful cosmic force.

Dark Phoenix reportedly takes place 10 years after the events in X-Men: Apocalypse and has returning stars James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, and Nicholas Hoult as Beast.

Interestingly just two days after the trailer was dropped new came out of Fox Studios that Dark Phoenix  would be changing its release date! This is pretty awkward for the studio because at the end of the trailer that was released Wednesday night is says the movie will be out on “February 14.”  However, according to Deadline Fox will be moving the Dark Phoenix to a summer slot on June 7, 2019.  This change of release date for the X-Men movie came with news that Fox would be moving around more of their films as well.  You can find more information about the move here.
