‘Bumblebee’ Releases A New Awesome Trailer

If you didn’t know by now, Bumblebee will be coming out on December 21st of this year and it is a prequel to the already existing Transformers franchise that first stated back in 2007.  A trailer for said movie just dropped and surprisingly its – good!

Bumblebee will be the first movie directed by someone other than Michael Bay.  Kubo and the Two Strings director Travis Knight sat behind the wheel on this, and for months has been promising a different type of Transformers movie.  And he proves it in this trailer, by showing that the film has heart.

Since this project was announced I, and many others, have been critical of Bumblebee.  However, this trailer won me over!  The trailer demonstrates that a Transformers movie can have both action and tender moments.  In just a few short minutes we see many human characteristics in Bumblebee, something that the previous movies in the franchise lacked in their robots.

We also see a re-design of the Transformers in this trailer.  Each character looks exactly like their original look from the Transformers toys in the 1980’s.  And they look great!

What do you think of the trailer?  Are you going to go see it when it comes out in December? Leave a comment below and let me know.
