LeBron James’ ‘Space Jam 2’ Is Finally Official

It has been in the rumor mill for years.  A lot of “will we, or won’t we, get a Space Jam 2” questions have been in the back of movie fans’ minds for years.  Well it looks like we might finally have a definitive answer to these questions.

Space Jam 2 will finally happen! Sing it! “Everybody get up it’s time to slam now, we got a real jam goin’ down, welcome to the Space Jam..”

After years of rumor about Space Jam 2 is official will basketball star LeBron James in the starring roll with Terence France directing, and Black Panther’s Ryan Coogler producing.  We got the official word when LeBron James’ production company, SpringHill Entertainment, tweeted out the below picture of a basketball locker room.

In the original, Michael Jordan held the staring roll along with Patrick Ewing, Shawn Bradley, Larry Johnson, Muggsy Bogues, and Charles Barkley. Without knowing much more, it may be pretty safe to assume that this sequel will put more NBA players in as side characters in a very similar way that the first did.

This has been a long time in the making.  And hopefully it will be everything that the fans have been wanting for years.  No set release date has been made, but we should be hearing something soon.
