Finally, the Final Trailer for ‘Power Rangers’ has been released!

Lionsgate has debuted the newest, and final trailer for the Power Rangers!

This iteration of Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being destroyed by the evil Rita Repulsa. Chosen by destiny, the new heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

The Power Rangers stars Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger, RJ Cyler as the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Becky G as the Yellow Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, with Bill Hader voicing Alpha 5, Bryan Cranston as Zordon, and Elizabeth Banks as the evil Rita Repulsa.  It is also directed by Dean Israelite and written by John Gatins, who is best known for writing Kong: Skull Island and Real Steel.

I have to admit, when I first heard of this project I was extremely skeptical of its success.  So far there have been two Power Rangers movies released – in 1995, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie which made $40 Million in the World Wide box office and also the 1997 film, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie which only made $8 Million World Wide!  Knowing this, it is a wonder that this movie was ever even made.  However, after the last several trailers I have been won over.  I am looking forward to this film very much.  Luckily I, and everyone like me, will not have to wait much longer, as the film is set to be released on March 24th, 2017.
