Q&A: Blockbuster I’m most excited for/Favorite Marvel Character

Once again, I get to talk about myself with another opinion question! Awesome.  Sarah from Zwolle, La writes:

Hey!  I have a question.  What summer blockbuster are you most excited about this year? Also, what is your favorite Marvel character to date?

 Thanks for the question Sarah!

This is actually an interesting question because the blockbuster movie that I was most looking forward to was Captain America: Civil War – and that movie already came out, I saw it, I loved it.

So now I have to decide what my favorite blockbuster is now that I am most looking forward to.  And I’m going to admit – I’m going to cheat and say that I have two now that are tied for first place!

In no particular order, the first blockbuster that I am most looking forward to is the new adaptation of The Legend of Tarzan. Staring the many talents of Alexander Skarsgård, who plays the king of the apps, Tarzan, Margot Robbie, who plays Tarzan’s love interest, Jane, as well as Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz, who will be playing the foil to Tarzan. If you haven’t seen a trailer for this awesome movie yet, check it out below.  Its the trailer that got me hooked.

The other film that I am most looking forward to is technically the 5th movie of the franchise, and that is Jason Bourne.

I am a huge fan of all of the Bourne movies – and yes that includes the one that stared Jeremy Renner that came out in 2012.  So I am really looking forward to this one.

Paul Greengrass, who directed both The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, is returning to direct this film.  Matt Damon is back reprising his role as Jason Bourne, as well as Julia Stiles who plays Nicky Parsons.  Newcomers are Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel, and the very grumpy Tommy Lee Jones.

If you are not convinced yet then watch the trailer below and see that not only does this just look like an awesome action movie, but it also looks exactly like a Bourne movie should.

And as for the last part of your question….I would have to say my favorite Marvel character I’ve seen on the big screen so far would be Black Panther.

He is a King, a warrior, a ninja, and he is able to hold his own against every marvel character that shows up in Captain Black pantherAmerica: Civil War.

Thanks so much for the questions Sarah!! This was a lot of fun.

And to the readers – what’s your favorite Blockbuster of this year? Have you already seen it, or are you still waiting patiently? And what is your favorite Marvel character so far?  Lets make all of this a discussion in the comments below.
